Thinking about getting married?
The Bridge is committed to preparing couples to build Christ-centered marriages that will last a lifetime. We want to help prepare you for one of the most exciting, meaningful, and important journeys you will ever undertake. Marriage 101 is a dynamic program designed to help you lay the foundation for a strong, biblical relationship. It offers great opportunities to learn more about your possible mate, to explore your compatibility, and to grow stronger as individuals and as a couple.
The cost for the Marriage 101 materials is $40. You will also be asked to take an online pre-marital assessment, for $35, which you will pay for at that time. Your total financial investment for Marriage 101 is $75.
IMPORTANT: Following your initial registration for this course, you will receive a confirmation email which will include a link to a form that will help us get to know you a little bit more before you begin this part of your journey.
Marriage 101 includes:
Five sessions of foundational Biblical teaching through our Preparation for Marriage Study. Sessions take place on Sundays from 4 PM to 6 PM in the Annex at The Bridge Princeton.
A premarital assessment to celebrate your relationship strengths as a couple, identify issues on which you disagree and need to resolve, and encourage you to maintain an ongoing dialogue as a couple regarding your relationship
Mentoring sessions with a trained marriage mentor couple who have been married for 10 or more years, who will guide you through an assessment of your relationship using a premarital inventory
Successful completion of the Marriage 101 program is required for all couples being married at The Bridge or by a pastor of The Bridge and must be completed no later than 3 months before your anticipated wedding date. Upon completion of the program, the pastor marrying you will receive notification that you are ready to proceed with the wedding if a date has been set.
